What is Fractionation?

Fractionated Avocado Oil is created during the process of making our iconic 100% Pure Avocado Oil. During the process of making 100% Pure Avocado Oil, solid portions from the avocado are left over and we use that to create Avocado Oil Shortening. Our Avocado Oil Shortening can be used as a replacement for traditional shortening and as a substitute for butter. It is perfect for baking and frying!
